Sisley will open a new spa in London’s renowned Mayfair area, known for luxury and elegance. The spa, Maison Sisley, will be on South Audley Street, near Mount Street, which hosts other high-end beauty brands like Creed and Dr. Barbara Sturm.
Opening on July 19, the spa will offer treatments for face, body, and hair, exclusively using Sisley products. These treatments will focus on professional techniques like facial massage, LED treatments, and peels. Global Vice President Christine D’Ornano highlighted the importance of personalized advice and human interaction for their customers.
The company started its spa journey in Paris in 2017 and expanded during the pandemic, adding locations in Milan, Madrid, New York, and Shanghai. D’Ornano emphasized their strategy of focusing on massages over numerous product applications since many of their clients already have extensive skincare routines.
Finding the right spot in London was challenging for the company, which seeks properties with multiple floors to accommodate a boutique, treatment rooms, and a relaxation area. Sisley, a family-owned luxury skincare brand, hit €930 million ($1 billion) in sales last year, with skincare making up about 70% of their revenue. Their haircare line, launched in 2018, is also growing rapidly.
Maison Sisley spas attract existing clients and new customers, offering a range of services including blowouts. According to D’Ornano, profitability varies across locations, but earlier openings have been successful.
Opening in London’s elite market aligns with Sisley’s strategy to maintain high standards and cater to a discerning clientele in the luxury wellness sector.
