Remedy Place Will Open New SoHo Location
In a significant expansion of its footprint, Remedy Place, a luxury social wellness club, is set to open its largest location yet in SoHo, New York, this September. This sprawling 7,400-square-foot facility aims to cater to the growing demand for self-care treatments among health-conscious consumers. Founded in 2019, Remedy Place has carved a niche by offering innovative recovery treatments like ice baths and IV drips, often attracting a clientele that includes celebrities and athletes.
The new SoHo club comes as the wellness industry experiences a meteoric rise, with the U.S. wellness market projected to grow to $480 billion in 2024. A McKinsey study highlights that younger generations, particularly Millennials and Gen-Z, are prioritizing their physical and mental well-being more than previous cohorts, driving the demand for services like those offered by Remedy Place.
Dr. Jonathan Leary, the founder and CEO, emphasizes that this location, adorned with features like dark wood paneling and stylish lighting from Apparatus, will provide a unique social atmosphere. The company plans to establish 16 clubs across the United States, with Boston’s Seaport district also on the horizon for a future opening.
In SoHo, Remedy Place will be joined by other health-focused establishments such as Happier Grocery and The Well, indicating a robust trend toward wellness-oriented spaces. “Having more options is beneficial for the industry; everyone deserves to feel better,” Dr. Leary asserts. The new location promises to deliver signature experiences and cutting-edge wellness treatments, positioning itself as a leader in the competitive wellness landscape.
